
Trogir is is a picturesque little town situated in the middle of Croatian coast, located near city of Split.
Because of its long history and cultural heritage, this historic town is also known as „treasury of art“ or „museum city“. UNESCO also recognized the cultural value of the historic centre and since 1997. has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
One of the most valuable monument is Cathedral of Saint Lawrence built in 13th century which is the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in this area.
Except this significant monument, other must-see sights are the Kamerlengo Fortress, the Church of Saint Nicholas, the Čipiko Palace, the Town Gate, the picture gallery, the Town Hall, the city museum and the ‘Kairos’ art collection.
